Monthly model idea
While I was uploading my models I was thinking that it might be a good idea to maybe give away a model a month. Nothing extravagant but something you
guys might need or want but still low poly enough for use in a mod. Now Im not talking about a highly detail death star or a complete city setting but
better than say a crate or an ashtray. I hate when you find free models they're most always something you would never want or need. Who in the hell
needs a free model of a toaster?
I shure didnt!
I am in the middle of building content for a couple of mods, working and building content for my own ventures but im sure I can find some time here
and there to help you guys out if you think its something you might want or need.
You have to let me know though. If I get no responses I'll just figure its not a good idea. If you would like something or have some ideas just post
em here and I'll do my best to get em up.
P.S. Please don't give me a list of 50 things ok? Keep it down to maybe two or three at a time. You can always post again with more idea after I've
had some time to build em. Also as they're completed I'll update this forums with the new models so keep your eye open for new posts by me.

I always wanted to know how to make tiberium in 3DS Max (please tell me you've played C&C before Skull!).
Tiberium crystals would be awesome. If not that, then some pungi sticks.
Go Skull!

I've never heard of anybody thats ever not played at least one of the C&C's but the tiberium crystals and pungi sticks would be way to small and
easy I think for a monthly model by them selfs.
Maybe you could come up with something that might incorporate either of those two things?
Other wise I could just show you how to make em. Wouldn't take you more than a few minutes actually.

That would be awesome lol. All I really need to know is how to create rectangular shapes facing up with points. And maybe a half-circle lol. See the
attached picture.
BTW Gothic, a few hours ago I thought you were Skull... lol.
As for the texturing, I've got that bro - don't worry.
As for the collision boxes - hmm I might need help with that. I dunno if I would have to duplicate the spikes and the circle and make them CBs - I'm
not sure if the object editor for DFX will accept that or not when I import... EE might be able to help me out there...

No wories crispy.
I'm no expert moding any of the No-logic games but if it was up to me I would just make one col box around the whole thing. It can only be 6 sided
(Hope im right..lol) if I remember but it doesn't have to be a square in shape. It could be wider at the top and narrower near the bottom.
Besides Its not like your gona climb around on em.
Just a thought.
As far as showing you I can probably make a vid this weekend to show u how. I'll see what I can do. I do have some things to take care of but Im sure
I can find some time.
I'll post a link when its done.

Skull, tomorrow sometime I'll see if I can download it and I'll tell you when it's on my PC, so you can remove it off ya FTP. Thanks bud.

Nice pic's by the way. I have blueprints for that train. I've had a thing for trains since I was a kid.

Leave it up to you Bull.......lol
Im American, I had to look that up...
Reminds me of a Wedgwood.
Update on the Quad 50 cal
I got home last night any started working on the quad. By the time I was done I had almost finished it except for a few details and the trailer it
sits on.
I'll probably have it done way before the end of the month.
I might have to re-think the monthly model idea and maybe adjust it into monthly model packs depending on the ideas you
guys give me.
If I do go this way, what kinds of packs would be good?
Just remember, I might map em I might not. I might even texture some but I'll probably leave some of the work up to you. Its always better if you
guys are involved in some way so when its all said and done you can say I helped create that.

Google riverine boat under images.
From what Ive seen most of the guys who operate these things cammo them them selfs. There seems to be official cammo scheme that I can find.
When I did mine I just did one that I thought looked good. They do seem to be more greens, black and browns to represent a jungle river environment
but like i said just make one up Im sure it'll look good.
