DJ3 status please
The last time I tried to play DFX-DJ3 online was when the "Nova-accepted" version came out. But, somewhere in the game I'd get punted. I must
assume I was missing some objects from my files.
Now, am I understanding the new update correctly? It is NOT accepted by NovaWorld?
So... DJ is in limbo? (Too bad... I liked the resources!)

As far as I know, they were up to version 8
There is another mod otw (SO) ... check submitted news section

There never has been a "Nova Accepted" version..
Yes, the last update is version8, which I have posted in the download section.
You get punted if your not running the same version as the server, even though you can join, you won't last long.
Usually, the server message/name tells you what version they are running.

Thanks. I guess I'll install v8. But at the rate the upgrades keep changing, it seems to me that it's only gonna be good for single-player maps.
Who's making all these updates? Microsoft? 
LOL... I'm trying to figure out now, how to name my files. I like to put to mod in the map title, but ... this could get silly-
iE: DFX-BearForce(8)v33_map.bms.
Sheesh- there's no room, lol.
I did notice a change but forgot to write down the filename of the decoration. It was a group of boxes or crates. When I installed v8, all of a sudden
the whole top-floor of one of my buildings was "blossoming" with a huge stack of crates. They were 1 crate in the previous version. So- a file got
changed but uses an old filname. (I shoulda written it down.)

Yeah, they went a bit overboard, we don't know if we are coming or going..
They should never have removed any items at all and reused the asset numbers, then, all the maps would have been usable on any version.

08 mod scrapped now! they braught a new mod out again called the bearforce mod 01!

Hi guys just to let you all know that the DJ Mod have now been scraped as they have now made a new one called BFM sorry i can't tell you more about
it has i have not tryed it i stop updating the mod at 07 as i got fed up of having to update it all the time and finding bit not working rigth. thanks

Yeah, I have the mod, and have it on our file server, just no link yet, cos I have trouble, like a lot of sounds are missing..
I think they just threw it together a bit too fast, and screwed up a few thinks.
I'll take this up with Bearforce before I link the download to the Database.

Really pretty simple:
The BFM (bear force mod) allows you to join and play any server hosting BFM or any version of DJ3.
If you are serving...you can host any BFM map or DJ3 map.
Why have different versions? Waste of space.

Hello Housemouse,
I think I am ready to update my Game Server from the DJ3 UP07 MOD to the BFM 1.0 MOD. In doing so, does this mean that all players that join my
server will have to be running the BFM MOD? Can players running the DJ3 UP08 MOD connect up to a Server running the BFM MOD without being punted
out?

have you tried the SO mod? alot of good things in it, and more otw. like double the weapons.

If malcolmreynolds2 is the dude who has the Orange County server, then he's already running the beta version of the Special Operations mod.
Whoever is running that server anyway, I'd like to have a quick word with 'em.
