Check in the DFBHD manual. It's on yer CD. Just open it up, and search for squib.

First place the start and end squibs in the map. Look at the end squib and get the SSN number of in, then go to the start squib. In the upper right corner of the item attributes of the start squib, put the end squib's SSN# in the Next SSN blank. Whenever you want it to go off, make an event that kills the start squib. Also, you should know that they don't really always work as you want. I've had trouble with them a lot in a map I'm working on.

They are like real squibs used in movies... you don't really see the bullets firing, but you see bullets hitting the ground, I'm pretty sure there is sound, and it will kill you... Like pretty much every strafe (?) run in the game.

The AK47 squibs don't cause any damage, though.

Squibs are also good for atmosphere. A squib line 3 meters long will give you a three round burst. Set the "Kill SSN" event to reset every 5 seconds, put an area trigger around it, and then trigger the event any time Group 1 is in that area.

This makes it look like every time a player's in that spot, he gets shot at.
