Installed it and no options to play

I installed and updated DF BHD and TS a few days ago and when I tried to play. The menu options for SP and MP were grayed out. ? Does this mean I can't play this game anymore?

That doesn't sound right.

Did you install it from CD? If you installed it with the downloadable BHD_Install.exe and BHDTS_Install.exe, you're not supposed to update it.

And if you installed it from CD, you need to have the CD in the drive to play it.

Yes, I installed it from the CD. and where can I get the downloadable files from. I never heard of them before. I didn't want to have to keep the cd in the drive while I was playing the game
