The installer doesn't recognize the game in my C drive either. Since the installer is old, it may be a Windows 7 conflict with the new directory system.

I've spent about an hour trying to make you a make-shift installer using the DFInstaller package from TerraNova, but it simply refuses to work. I'm very frustrated/confused.

You can basically install it manually, though.

1.) Grab a PFF editor (either Fw0_Raven's or Tom's) and open up the .PFF file that comes with the DF2 to TFD Terrains installer (DF2_Terr.pff).
2.) Extract all the files in that .PFF to a temporary directory.
3.) Open up TERRAINS.pff in the PFF editor.
4.) Import all those files you extracted back into this .pff.

ok cool. so it just installs that extra stuff in the DF2_Terr.pff?

yeah, ill do the quick and dirty with the pff utility then.

i still have xp pro....strange that it was hard coded for c drive when tons of gamers diversified their hard drives.
