NSO mod - NEED HELP PLEASE

Hi,

I have installed the NSO mod, it all seems to work fine while hosting a server myself via Nova, however when i goto join a server via Nova, the moment i press JOIN, it gives me system dump, would appreciate some help if someone has a solution.

I run windows 7 if that makes a difference and yes i run it in admin mode.

Thx

Sorry to be so late in replying, there's hardly anyone around nowadays, much less those who had the pleasure of working on the NSO mod.

Ok, keep in mind that you must run the mod to join the servers that are hosting the NSO mod. Additionally, if you try to join a server that is NOT hosting the NSO mod, you may get a sysdump or punted from the server. You'd get the same result if you where running standard BHD or a different mod and tried joining the server hosting the NSO mod.

Hopefully that will help...

Where's a good place to d-load some NSO SP maps, I've looked and looked. It's a very good mod it's a shame there are not that many maps made for it.Well looks like I'll have to get busy lol.

I have been working on a lot of NSO maps but unfortunately I have only found the time to finish and upload one. I keep telling myself I'll find time to finish them but it doesn’t seem to happen. There's a link to one of my NSO maps in my sig. I'm defiantly looking forward to seeing your maps!! :A

Very old post here. I started a campaign for NSO but never had time to finish it. The fist map is finished and the follow on map is half finished. However time run out and the Mod had to be released.
The campaign was based around the MMA's Wanju City Siege map.

I'm sure you know you can play any SP maps from BHD, BHDTS and maps made through the Mods Mission Editor.

Luke's got a new game in the planning stages right now, if we can scrounge up enough coders and modders we might be able to port the NSO mod over to it (and have much more leeway with the mechanics) :)

Time is not my enemy, although we do have many disagreements...
