Hi all,
Any new news on dfbarracks, is it gone for good or maybe some way to get the maps from the backup hosted here or somewhere else?

This is Eagle_Eyes area he has the complete site stored its just waiting until he is ready do do somthing about it.

EE had posted something about needed to get the maps from the database, and needed someone to write a program to do it about a year ago. I said I do
that for a living, and it was apparently ignored. So who knows anymore.

I wanted to help over a year ago and I was ignored all so. Guys I just don't think that dfbarracks.com will be going back up again. I all so gave him
the info to get dfbarracks.net removed too. and he didn't do any thing about that stolen web site.
In general dfbarracks.com is gone and I don't think it will be back.

When you google dfbarracks maps, that part of the site shows up and maybe semi-works enough to show some map names, screenshot, etc... but no
downloading  lol

I see EE has pulled some maps from a couple of map makers and bundled them for download. I'm assuming that since he's done this, that he now has
access to the map data base. If EE needs any help reposting the maps here, I'd be happy to help any way I can.

More information is in the other thread. I was working with
BulletMagnet last night to get a local server set up to load the map data into, and an application to easily get the data back out. He is now working
on it to get the data organized better and get them up here.

Here's an update for those that are interested in the DFBarracks issue. EE has given me access to the map data base, and until DFB is either back
online or becomes inter-grated here, I'll be putting as many maps from the barracks available here in the various map data bases I can.I've already
started this work mostly for BHD maps so go take a look and make sure to let other folks know that DFBarracks maps are now becoming available here.
If you've been looking for an old map to play in your server and I haven't posted it yet, leave me a message with the maps name and or the map maker
who created it, and as I have a chance, I'll see if I can find it and get it posted for you.

Redneck hasn't finished working on the site yet, it's not ready for use just yet.
Luis has jumped the gun a bit, but that's ok..
Any old members should be able to login via the forum, not via the home page.
Red has the map database running for downloads, not for uploads.
It may be that uploads will never work just yet.
Thanks to Red for his great work, also thanks to BulletMagnet, don't give up on that tool yet mate, I'd like to make all the maps I have here at
home usable, and, that is all of them
