TKOTH Navidation Red or Blue

I've been working on a team king of the hill map. I set the TKOTH center and everything.

What I am trying to do is to make a navigation point for both teams. In other words, all teams [red or blue] have a directional pointer on their compass and a counter that tells them the distance also.

Can someone give me some advice or tell me where I could download a manual, tutorial, map or something?

cant you just create a waypoint for each team? (red/blue) the waypoint should tell the distance if going where the waypoint tells them to go

Thanks for responding Bull.

So far I've been able to do only part of what I want. I place a Blue Base Flag Bay and Red Base Flag Bay below ground level of the TKOTH Center. This gives the red and blue teams a navigation pointer on their compass. However, like I said, it only resolves some of my issue. There has got to be a better solution.

I’m not a TKOTH map maker; I have made one for a group as a gift to them. Someone else may have a better idea.
I did check out this and it worked for me. U2U me your e-mail address if following this procedure doesn’t work and I’ll send you the map I created for an example.
1. Place your KOTH center in map.
2. In the insert item menu under markers, select “waypoint, mp, blue base” create this marker, Then select “waypoint, mp, red base” create that marker.
3. If you place these two markers on top of your KOTH center point it will give you a direction and distance to that point in the map when played.
These markers will point at the opposite waypoint. In other words the red player will be directed to the waypoint called “waypoint, mp, blue base” but if you place them both on top of the KOTH center point it won’t matter. In game they will both be called “alpha”
I did try to create a TKOTH map using multiple waypoints for each team but wasn’t able to make it work. Someone else may have better luck.
Hope this helps m8

Just use a marker "waypoint,mp,alpha" on top of the koth centre and both teams will have direction.

"waypoint,mp,alpha" should be used on all blue/red team maps to give direction. There are way too many maps out there with no direction. "waypoint,mp,alpha" should usually be placed in the centre of a map, or, where you want all the action to take place.

Cheers
